My first Market and mini Shop Update!

This past month, I’ve been working on something exciting—new A5 notebooks as part of the Bees Collection! To make the process more efficient (and less wasteful), I decided to order 30 pre-laminated covers from a trusted manufacturer. The cover-making step is quite time-consuming and delicate, so outsourcing it lets me focus on assembling and finishing the notebooks at home. It’s a much more convenient setup considering the limited time I can dedicate to this part of the process—and I’m
so happy with how everything is coming together!

My first Market Experience
|
Last Saturday, I attended my very first market! It was a small event with just 9 stalls, each offering something different—handmade jewelry, blueprints, casual clothing, fabric accessories, amigurumi keychains, African-style goods, and natural skincare. I was the only one there with a stall dedicated to stationery! Prepping the booth took quite a while—setting up displays, arranging
all the products, and figuring out the best way to showcase everything in a cute and eye-catching way.
I didn’t have a lot of success sales-wise—just 7 sales (some from friends), which didn’t cover the €65 spot rental—but it was such a valuable experience. I got to interact with customers, learn how to package orders in a small space, and understand which products catch people’s attention. I'm grateful to have taken the first step, and I’m hopeful that the next markets will go
better and start bringing in some profit. The day after, I was totally wiped out—sore, exhausted, and with zero energy—so I had to spend the day resting at home. Now, I’m jumping into my Summer Collection! I’m super excited to start creating fresh and colorful new products, and I’ll be sharing my progress over on socials—stay tuned!
